Job Description

    We have openings for NOC Transmission Engineer positions in Noida.Experience: 2 to 3 YearsSalary Limit: 40,000/-Core ResponsibilitiesNetwork Monitoring & Fault Management24/7 monitoring of transmission networks via NMS tools (e.g., U2000, Netcool, SolarWinds, Zabbix)Detect, analyze, and troubleshoot alarms, degradations, and outagesPerform first-level (L1/L2) fault isolation for fiber, microwave, SDH, DWDM, IP/MPLS linksEscalate issues to field teams, vendors, or higher-level engineering when requiredIncident & Outage HandlingRespond to network incidents within SLA timelinesOpen, update, and manage trouble ticketsCoordinate with field engineers for fiber cuts, hardware failures, or power issuesTrack incidents until resolution and confirm service restorationProvide regular outage updates to stakeholders and customersTransmission Systems SupportSupport and troubleshoot:Fiber optic networks (OTDR basics, attenuation issues)Microwave radio links (LOS, interference, alignment issues)SDH/PDH (E1/T1, STM levels)DWDM/OTN systemsPerform loopbacks, cross-checks, and performance testsPerformance Monitoring & OptimizationMonitor KPIs: latency, packet loss, BER, jitter, utilizationIdentify chronic issues and recurring faultsAssist in traffic rerouting and protection switching (ring, mesh, protection paths)Support planned maintenance and network upgradesConfiguration & Change ManagementExecute approved configuration changes during maintenance windowsValidate network stability post-changeFollow MOPs and change management processesRoll back changes if issues occurDocumentation & ReportingMaintain accurate logs, shift handover notes, and incident reportsPrepare daily/weekly NOC performance reportsUpdate network diagrams and asset records when requiredContribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reportsVendor & Cross-Team CoordinationWork with vendors (Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson, Cisco, Juniper, etc.)Coordinate with IP, Core, Access, Power, and Field Operations teamsSupport vendor troubleshooting calls and escalationsRequired Skills & KnowledgeTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of transmission technologies (Fiber, Microwave, SDH, DWDM)Basic IP networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing fundamentals)Familiarity with NMS/EMS toolsAlarm correlation and troubleshooting skillsSoft SkillsAbility to work under pressure in a 24/7 environmentClear communication during incidentsStrong documentation and reporting habitsTeam coordination and escalation judgmentTypical Work EnvironmentShift-based (including nights, weekends, holidays)High-availability, mission-critical networksFast-paced NOC operations with strict SLAsInterested, may update your details and updated profile in given google form.https://forms.gle/kqRfgs1HZoAuULQZ6Bottom of Form
