Job Description

Job Title: Operations & Controls Lead Location: Noida

  • Role involves a very high degree of engagement with multiple stakeholders, business partners, across different business functions and groups while building and maintaining relationships with Leaders and their teams
  • Role involves assessing risk & controls gaps to mitigate them pro-actively and engage with teams on risk awareness and mind-set.
  • Support continuous improvement of the operational process and the development of Best Practice. Suggesting ideas to improve systems and processes where necessary and evaluate the benefits and risks of such proposals
  • Ensuring all activities & duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise wide risk management framework & internal policies
  • Manage cyclical workflow & allocation of resources to ensure target cycle times are achieved, resolving issues to ensure teams operate to maximum efficiency.
  • Act as escalation point for complex queries & issues.
What will you be doing
  • Ensure delivery of migration / transition plans
  • Define and implement an internal quality control and measurement framework
  • Stakeholder mapping for targeted outreach and engagement
  • Rationalize end-to-end with VSM; identify improvement opportunities, remove non-value adds
  • Leverage RPA, ML / AI to deliver sustainable solutions

Skills that will help you in the role
  • Candidate must be a MBA (Finance) or an equivalent postgraduate
  • Relevant post qualification, experience in a financial services institution (corporate or investment banking/consulting)
  • Experience of working in a Corporate/Investment Banking/consulting
  • Track record of achieving results through managing teams in an operational environment
  • Experience of using six sigma lean methodologies
  • Experience of handling risk and controls and or operations rigour
