Job Description

*Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience., *An experienced technical Oracle Communications OSS professional who has a broad understanding of CGBU solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. Implement OSM configurations along with configurations of other applications in Oracle OSS Suite in support of CGBU specific demonstrations and use cases. Develops detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.Desired Profile:Deep implementation knowledge of Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management product and Network Resource Management domain.Deep knowledge of Oracle Communications Order and Service Management product across all modules:o COMo SOMo TOMExperience of Oracle Communications Network Integrity product.Good knowledge of Communications and OSS space.Good understanding of PSR (Product Service Resource) models and relevant concepts (CFS, RFS, etc)Ability to describe a simple model for any domainAbility to implement and integrate product and solutions across RODOD, RSDOD.Ability to develop custom - designed solutions and integrate our technology platforms with their upstream / downstream systems.Understanding of 5G network and slicing concepts.Have good knowledge on Implementation technologies, such as, Java, XML, XQuery, WebServices, WebLogic, RDBMS, etc.Hands-on experience in developing and debugging WebServices and related service protocols such as SOAP/HTTP, Restful APIs.Perform code build and deployment of the completed codes into the development and testing environment.Ability to Build prototypes/POCs for the proposed solutions and provide technical assistance to architect in designing and implementing the solutions.Should possess hands-on in OSM installation and have good knowledge on troubleshooting the installation and configuration issues.Should have working knowledge of Java API for RESTful Web Services (JAX - RS).Should have good working knowledge in UNIX / LINUX environment / Unix Shell Scripts.Good exposure to front end technologies (AngularJS, Bootstrap, JQuery) will be plus.Ability and inclination to learn new products, packages quickly.Experience and exposure to RODOD solution implementation is preferredFamiliarity with Oracle CGBU Stack (BRM, OSM, ASAP, UIM, SOA, AIA) is a plus.Can operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement.
