Job Description

    The Virtual Account Manager (VAM) in the Phone Banking department plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service through remote channels. The VAM is responsible for understanding customer needs, providing assistance with banking queries, and promoting various banking products and services, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall growth of the bank.Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service via phone calls, addressing customer inquiries, resolving concerns, and offering appropriate solutions for their banking needs. Actively engage with customers to understand their financial requirements and recommend suitable banking products, services, and solutions based on their profiles and preferences. Educate customers about the features, benefits, and options of various banking products and services to drive product adoption and enhance customer understanding. Cross-sell a range of banking products, including savings. accounts, loans, credit cards, insurance, and investment opportunities, to existing and potential customers in line with their financial goals. Ensure compliance with established customer service standards, procedures, and regulatory guidelines during all customer interactions. Utilize digital tools and banking platforms efficiently to manage customer accounts, facilitate transactions, and guide customers in using online banking services effectively. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer queries, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate concerns when necessary to ensure a satisfactory resolution for the customer. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and transactions in the banks systems for record-keeping, analysis, and future reference. Stay updated on changes in banking regulations, product offerings, market trends, and digital advancements to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers. Meet or exceed individual and team targets for customer service quality, sales, customer retention, and other performance metrics as defined by the organization.Qualifications And Experience Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Prior experience in customer service or sales within the banking or financial services industry is an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and resolve queries over the phone. Good understanding of banking products, financial services, and digital banking platforms. Customer-centric approach with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-term customer relationships. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
