Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:1. Payroll Processing: Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including data input, calculations, anddisbursements. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing payroll for all employees,contractors, and other stakeholders. Validate timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies or issues in a timelymanner. Process adjustments, bonuses, and deductions accurately.2. Compliance Management: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations. Interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance withpayroll practices. Prepare and submit payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual reports. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address compliance concerns andimplement necessary changes. Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll processes.3. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information in compliance withprivacy laws. Generate reports on payroll metrics, tax liabilities, and other relevant data asrequired. Prepare documentation for internal and external audits. Respond to inquiries from employees regarding payroll matters.4. System Management: Utilize payroll software and systems to process payroll and generate reports. Monitor system updates and enhancements, ensuring smooth operation andcompliance. Collaborate with IT or external vendors to troubleshoot system issues asneeded.5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency. Implement best practices and recommend improvements to existing payrollsystems and procedures. Provide training and support to staff on payroll-related matters
