Role Overview:As a Principal Cloud Support Engineer, you will serve as the technical interface for customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to address issues related to the installation, maintenance, and utilization of Oracle products. You are expected to have a comprehensive understanding of various Oracle products and platforms, along with significant expertise in multiple platforms, enabling you to fulfill your responsibilities with minimal supervision. Your role involves independent research and development of solutions to resolve customer issues effectively.Responsibilities:- Act as the technical liaison for customers, OEMs, and VARs to resolve issues related to Oracle product installation, maintenance, and usage.- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Oracle products and platforms, along with proficiency in multiple platforms to carry out assigned tasks independently.- Research and develop solutions autonomously to address customer issues effectively.- Provide post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customers while advocating for customer needs.Qualification Required:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or relevant work experience.- 8 years of experience in Infrastructure or cloud-related field.- Hands-on experience with Cloud Networking and thorough knowledge of cloud computing.- Hands-on experience with public-cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.- Prior experience in a technical support role or demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems efficiently.- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.- Proficient in working with a global, remote workforce.- Self-motivated professional capable of working in a high-pressure production environment without compromising service quality.- Focus on customer service and satisfaction.- Required to work from the office 5 days a week and participate in the weekend rotation.
