Job Description

The Purchasing Engineer is responsible for all the purchasing needs of the company, from sourcing raw materials to managing vendors.Responsibilities: Develop, negotiate and manage contracts with key suppliers to ensure the best possible quality and lowest cost Establish appropriate levels of inventory with key suppliers in order to meet production requirements while minimizing inventory carrying costs Negotiate terms with suppliers that are in line with company policies and procedures, including pricing, delivery lead time and quality standards Identify opportunities for cost reduction through supplier consolidation or process improvement Monitor supplier performance on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with contractual obligations Maintain a complete and up-to-date record of all supplier transactions, including purchase orders and invoices Assist in developing company policies related to purchasing matters Assist in developing training materials for new. employees related to purchasing matters Having proven experience of 1-5 years.Requirements: BE/B-Tech, diploma and masters in the respective field.
