Job Description

    Stewards are deployed toassist in maintaining a safe environment for all, before, during and after the event taking place. Stewards should be appropriately dressed in accordance with agreed dress code and be punctual on all requirements to attend briefing, training and events.Job descriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in occupational health and safety, with a strong commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe work environment. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Responsibilities:
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of work sites, facilities, and equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
    • Develop and implement safety programs, training, and initiatives to promote awareness and reduce the risk of accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on safety-related issues, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards.
    • Participate in safety committee meetings, toolbox talks, and other forums to communicate safety information and promote a safety-conscious culture.
    • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
    • Conduct emergency response drills and exercises to test and improve the effectiveness of emergency procedures.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in occupational health and safety.
