Job Description

    Unacademy is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Director of Sales. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building high-performing sales teams. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Sales will play a critical role in driving sales strategy, expanding our market presence, and achieving ambitious revenue targets.Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets and drive business growth. Lead and mentor a team of sales managers and representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them achieve their goals. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify. opportunities for growth and innovation. Drive sales initiatives, promotional campaigns, and product launches to maximize sales opportunities and market penetration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to deliver integrated solutions and drive customer satisfaction. Develop and implement sales processes, policies, and procedures to streamline operations and optimize efficiency. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts, to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. Experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BSFI) sector is highly desirable. 15 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the education or technology industry. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced and competitive environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver results. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
