Engineering & Research teams in Monotype use best-in-class techniques and tools like Deep Learning, recommendation engines ,LAMP, ELK, Caching, MERN, Python, Javascript, AWS, Containerization, IaC, Big Data, CI/CD & automated test solutions in the entire spectrum of solutions in areas like cloud services, e-commerce, embedded systems, Internet of things, digital advertising & brand engagement. What you will be doing: Monotype is looking for a high-energy Agile practitioner who can help our teams harness the power of Agile practices, to deliver the next generation of solutions for the global market. You will be key to helping us accelerate and develop well-functioning Agile teams by facilitating daily Scrums, backlog refinement, identification of risks and ensuring teams are communicating with each other and enabled to autonomously own their commitments & constant improvement. The individual in this role will be focussed on driving top line and bottom line business success by helping drive: 1. Organizational commitment & urgency 2. Greater operational rigor This person will: bring subject-matter expertise and coach teams around the principles, practices, of Lean and help build an Agile mindset and culture within teams. have a very customer centric mindset participate in establishing a roadmap for the Agile transformation along with the sponsors and driving its implementation across multiple teams (called squads, in the Spotify model which we use). facilitate estimation and planning, daily progress, customer reviews, demos and retrospective sessions with teams. coach and facilitate continuous improvement efforts by the squads, by implementing takeaways from retrospectives and implementing concrete solutions to make the squads more efficient and improve delivery success. conduct sessions with teams around Agile overview, processes and practices, writing user stories, estimation, backlog refinement, as required. The approach should be creative, innovative and effective to ensure concepts are understood by the team. provide insights into areas for improvements with a focus on outcomes and with the objective of establishing a culture of autonomous management as well as self improvement in individuals and squads. be involved in multiple projects throughout the company and should be flexible enough to do this successfully. have the ability to take initiative and apply critical thinking techniques to analyze problems, develop solutions or manage risk What we are looking for: 5 years of related project management experience with Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Agile background Strong subject matter expertise and experience in using AGILE principles and techniques Kanban, Kaizen, SCRUM, XP, Iterative Development, LEAN, SAFe,ScrumScale and similar other coreprinciples and techniques. Demonstrated ability to develop a good understanding of the team dynamics and build high performing teams Thrive in an environment of constantly changing projects with tight deadlines Experience within iterative and adaptive software environment Strong collaboration, coaching, facilitation and problem-solving skills Exceptional communication skills Passion for impeccable quality and customer success Expert at Agile process tools like JIRA & Aha! Frequently Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization. Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments. Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving. Advise and coach the Product Owner on the scrum framework, getting items to ready , user story best practices, writing good acceptance criteria. Ask thoughtful questions to help our customers, product owners, and product managers to maximize ROI and meet company objectives. Understand product strategy and benefits of key deliverables in the area of responsibility. Leverage skills in project management to manage projects Plan and track the teams progress regularly to ensure release commitments are met. Works towards improving the productivity of the development teamGuide & coach (by asking powerful questions that are thought provoking) the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and values. Facilitate discussion and decision-making on identifying gaps and how to fill them appropriately.,
