Job Description

    • Financial Reporting:Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable financial regulations and Indian accounting standards (IND AS).
    • Accounts Payable & Receivable:Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all payments are processed on time and receipts are collected as per agreements. Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on pending payments.
    • Month-End Close:Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring all necessary journal entries are posted, account reconciliations are completed, and financial reports are generated within set deadlines.
    • Budgeting & Forecasting:Contribute to the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring that they are accurate and reflect business objectives. Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, providing insights to senior management to inform decision-making.
    • Compliance & Auditing:Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal company policies. Assist in the internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation, reconciling discrepancies, and addressing audit queries.
    • General Ledger Maintenance:Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring that all account entries are accurate and reconcile with bank statements and other financial records.
    • Tax Reporting:Support the preparation of tax filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and ensure all tax-related documentation is updated and in compliance with Indian tax laws.
    • Process Improvement:Continuously evaluate existing finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline financial reporting and operations.
    • Client Engagement:Regularly interact with clients, ensuring that their financial inquiries and needs are addressed. Provide them with financial insights and support in line with business requirements.
    • Team Leadership:Mentor and provide guidance to junior associates or analysts, helping them improve their skills, ensure their growth, and manage their workload efficiently. Foster a positive work environment and encourage team collaboration.
