As a Senior Logistics and Fleet Operations Manager at our client, a leading logistics and transport provider in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, IN, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the extensive fleet operations to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective movement of goods across various regions. Your responsibilities will include:- Managing a team of dispatchers, drivers, and maintenance personnel.- Developing and enforcing safety protocols and training programs.- Optimizing route planning and delivery schedules.- Monitoring fuel consumption and implementing cost-saving measures.- Ensuring compliance with all local and national transportation regulations.- Managing relationships with third-party logistics providers.- Utilizing fleet management software to track vehicle performance, maintenance needs, and driver behavior.Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing operational budgets, analyzing performance data, and reporting key metrics to senior management. Your proactive problem-solving approach and commitment to continuous improvement will be essential in identifying and mitigating risks within the supply chain.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.- Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics and fleet management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.- Proven experience in route optimization, fleet maintenance, and transportation compliance.- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
