Job Description

This position requires a strong knowledge of MS Access and MS SQL Server development and the ability to understand, at a high level, business and financial processes. The MS Access is expected to perform high complexity analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents, in addition to resolving defects encountered during the various testing cycles.Responsibilities

  • Identifies the system requirements of the administrator and system users regarding the kind of information.
  • In-charge of developing and designing database architecture and data models.
  • Discuss with others to examine the performance of the system and make adjustments as required and modify it and look for faults in the programs and prepare a report.
  • Maintain the security and integrity in order to define who utilized it as well as establishing who is not allowed to access.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in writing MS Access VBA code, developing and troubleshooting
  • Experience with forms, reports, queries, modules, macros, VBA
  • Experience and a high degree of confidence in general database theory and structure
  • Experience with multiple versions of Access
  • Experience with Excel and Excel VBA macros
  • Highly intelligent with the ability to adapt and change
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Strong knowledge in query writing, stored procedures, and database table/schema design.
  • Report writing experience (Access, SSRS, or other).
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player in fast-paced dynamic software development/support environments.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving
  • Experience working in a team environment
