Job Description

    Job DescriptionRole SummaryThe Middle East Sr. Procurement Manager will be responsible for organizing procurement and sourcing activities for the Middle East region and providing administrative support to the Procurement department. This role will also involve managing the GBS (Outsourced) Procurement Team in collaboration with the GBS Procurement Tower Lead. The Role includes driving procurement & sourcing initiatives and closely working with WSP Group Procurement team for compliance and adherence to policies & procedures.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Initiatives Develop a sourcing strategy in conjunction with the WSP Stakeholders - Source and engage vendors for IT and Shared Services, driving strategic sourcing initiatives and RFQ/RFPs to fulfill business requirements and drive commercial value. Collaborate extensively with the WSP Group Procurement team to foster communication and engagement, while actively leading the implementation of procurement policies and practices. tailored to the Middle East region. Engage and liaise with business stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and drive actions to fulfill. Drive industry based best practices to bring improvement initiatives for the overall procurement activities.BAU and Team Management Manage and govern the GBS Procurement team to ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs for procurement operations activities. Periodical Procurement and Spend based reporting to the key stakeholders - highlighting key matrices and cost trends/Insights across different business segments. Maintain an updated inventory register for Shared Services, ensuring adequate supplies of consumable items and requesting replenishment as needed. Co-ordinate the day-to-day assignment of requests received in ME - ProcurementMandatory Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in managing stakeholders across the global locations. Vendor Sourcing and Procurement experience for the ME Region (particularly in the KSA). Working knowledge of MS Office; experience with Oracle Fusion preferred.QualificationsBachelor/Master Degree in any Domain (Preferably in Finance)Specialized Certifications in Sourcing & Procurement will be an added advantage.ExperienceMinimum 12 years of experience in the similar domain,
