We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be part of the Product Engineering team. The candidate should have good experience with .Net technologies and experience in developing and maintaining one or more of the customized products for our clients in an innovative and deadline driven environment. The candidate is responsible for the success of a project by delivering components that exhibit strong competency in one or more core technology and conversance with best practices. Technical competencies Solid background of experience developing database driven web-based applications using .Net Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC 5 (authentication, filters, validations etc.) , WCF, JavaScript, JQuery, Git, MySql 8 and SQL Server. Excellent exposure in Object Oriented Design skills using C# and .NET along with async processing, multithreading, GC Should have experience in database - joins, stored procedures, indexes, lockingExperience in database optimization and profilingKnowledge of .NET concepts (delegate, value types, generics) Good to have experience in server and user controls (Datagrid, Report Viewer, Custom) Should have knowledge of design patterns and unit testing Experience in client-side scripting languages & frameworks Experience on exception handling, correct use of data structures, multi-threaded programming, memory management and application tuning Should be able to demonstrate problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong written and oral communication skills Roles & Responsibilities Requirement analysis, Coding, design, implementation, testing, problem analysis and resolution, and technical documentation. Identify inconsistencies in architecture and determine simpler and optimal programming solutions Able to create a design for small components and participates and contributes to research projectsCreatively define load tests, troubleshoot performance and build scalable solutions, able to suggest DB structure normalization changes. Understanding of technical requirements and how they relate and familiarity in general performance practices like caching, query optimization, memory utilization and clean-up etc. Knowledgeable of all aspects of the project and can jump into support as needed Produces consistently solid project work and is highly valued by project team Participates in training, Advanced Technology Group opportunities to improve team skills and articulates issues and ideas.
