The person will play the role of a senior system administrator and will be responsible for server & network administration within the organization. The candidate will be responsible for overall 100% uptime of IT Infrastructure.Responsibilities Good knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012 R2/ 2016. Server Patch Management. Manage domain controllers/servers. Create, change, and delete user accounts per request. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Engineer and Architect related solutions for various project and operational needs. Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. Decommission of all platform servers. Perform daily system monitoring. Responsible to install, configure and maintain Windows-based servers. Maintain system standards and contribute to the development. Working with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript and Shell-based scripting) to automate the manual process. Verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, review system and application logs. Perform security monitoring to identify potential issues. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required. Plan patch management at various levels (server, storage, network). Manage virus management software s. Manage server and software licenses. Planning security management software s. Responsible for migration/decommission of legacy servers by updating users. Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of IT Infrastructure, Application Service Level Agreements and Service Providers. Implement and enforce polices(server, storage, network & security) across servers. Ensure that appropriate standards are set, maintained, followed and reported on regular basis.,
