Job Description

NOTE: Preferable looking for DIVERSITY Candidates ONLYJob Role: Services Engineer 2nd Level Assurance Network OperationsLocation: NoidaQualifications: Engineering Graduates/MastersJob Responsibilities:This Job Role is responsible for the coordination, management and execution of proactive and reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support that the one offered by the 1st Level Operations. This shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.2nd Level Assurance Engineer is typically assigned to work on tickets and troubleshooting high level network and services faults.Any one of the below mentioned Certifications are MUST:

  • CCIE, JNCIA, ETCP, CCNA, CCNP, CCIP
Need to have:
  • Industry experience: Telecom/ISP/Enterprise
  • Must have excellent communication skills and able to handle end Customers to ensure their problems are addressed
  • Experience in 2nd level support activities and troubleshooting of IP related networks issues and tickets (Routers, switches, and Firewall etc.)
  • Good Experience of Multi-Vendor Routing and switching products like CISCO ASR , Juniper (MX , TX and PTX) series ,Alcatel SR-7750 , Alcatel ESS7 switches, Cisco Routers and Switches ,CMTS -ARRIS,CMTS-CBR-8,CMTS -CISCO
  • Experience of working on CMTS CBR-8, Arris and Cisco
  • Experience of working on Routing and switching Protocols like VRRP, VPLS,OSPF, ISIS, BGP, LDP, RSVP, BFD, STP ,Segment Routing
  • Handling of incidents & outages for restoration.
  • Hands-on work experience on Managing IP based Network services network and remote trouble shooting.
  • Providing information to users/customer about service availability and the procedures for obtaining these services.
  • End-to-End understanding of IP Network Architecture is must.
  • Understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP,HTTP,RTMP,IGMP,PIM,DNS)
Working knowledge of below mentioned IP products and vendors
  • CISCO Routers --- NCS5K,ASR 9k , ASR 10K, 7600, 7200 series,
  • Huawei RoutersCX600, ATN series
  • Alcatel Routers --- SR-7750
  • Alcatel Switches --- ESS7
  • Juniper Routers ---- MX , TX , PTX series
  • Redback Routers ---- SE600, SE 1200
  • Cisco Switches ---- Nexus 5K , 3400 , 3550
  • Firewalls --------- ASA
  • Load Balancers ------- F5
