Job Description

These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain .NET applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
  • Communicate effectively with other engineers and US Team
  • Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
  • Identify production and non-production application issues
  • Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of .NET developed projects
  • Provide technical support and consultation for .NET application and infrastructure questions
  • Run Facets production deployments from offshore
Required Qualifications:
  • B.Tech/MCA/MTech (minimum 16 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant)
  • 5-7 years of experience working with .NET technologies and hands-on experience in designing, developing and delivering commercial application software
  • Strong experience developing web applications on the .NET platform (C#, .NET CORE, Entity Framework CORE, Oracle, SQL Server, Java Script, jQuery, HTML, CSS 3, Bootstrap, Ajax, Linq)
  • Strong experience in creating high level designs and detailed designs
  • Experience in providing technical guidance and inculcating engineering best practices within development teams
  • Experience creating version management strategy and working knowledge of version control systems like TFS/GitHub
  • Experience conducting design and code reviews
  • Experience working in teams following Agile development methodologies (Scrum)
  • Exposure to complete software product lifecycle encompassing requirements analysis, prototyping, architecture, design, development, testing and deployment
  • Proficiency in applying object-oriented principles and recommended design patterns to create robust and scalable system designs
  • Fundamental knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot problems and zero in on the likely root causes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ownership and accountability for the assigned tasks
  • Excellent team player and collaborator
