Job Description

We are looking for a Rockstar mobile engineer. A talented team player who will be comfortable in a highly visible & critical role. As a mobile software engineer, you will be building and supporting progressive/hybrid apps for most popular mobile platforms. As a member of the development team, you will help us develop product solutions and deliver features that power the next generation of global applications using mobile and web technologies. Iron Systems is an innovative, customer-focused provider of custom-built computing infrastructure platforms such as network servers, storage, OEM/ODM appliances & embedded systems. For more than 15 years, customer have trusted us for our innovative problem solving combined with holistic design, engineering, manufacturing, logistic and global support services. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic/Angular
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with other engineers and internal stakeholders to adapt existing web application functionality into a mobile application
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to determine mobile application requirements and functionality
  • Deliver code in an agile team environment.
  • Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
Required Skillset 4+ years of software development experience Experience in developing mobile applications with at least one of the following: Hybrid Mobile (Cordova, PhoneGap, Ionic, JS/HTML5, etc.) Other mobile frameworks (Appcelerator, Xamarin, etc.)
  • Experience building applications with Javascript and leveraging the latest frameworks/packages
    • Passion for great UX
  • Team player with high energy who is truly passionate about software design and development
    • Web application markup experience with HTML and CSS Strong understanding of OOP and Functional programming paradigms Detail oriented with an appreciation for clean code. Desired Skillset
    • Experience with Flutter framework or Dart programming language is a plus
    • Understanding of UML, Agile and Scrum methodologies
    • Experience building server-side Java applications a plus.
    • Excellent time management, multitasking, problem solving, teamwork, organization and communication skills.
    • Willingness to participate in a formal project management environment.
    • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
    • Ability to work in both an individual and team-based environment.
    Excellent verbal and written communications skills and organizational skills.
