Job Description

  • Working with Solution Architects to create technical strategy for Network Integration of BSS/Mediation/OSS/Connectivity Management Platform (CMP) with core incl PGW/GGSN, HSS/HLR, MME, SGW, DDE, SMSC, PCRF, STP, AAA etc
  • Develop BSS/OSS/CMP integration strategy incl development of use cases, test plans and procedures for functional testing of WING BSS/OSS/CMP elements including verification of CDR fields for different billing requirement based on use cases and resilience/robustness
  • Develop and execute integration test plans including success/acceptance criteria and documented evidence
  • Source and use appropriate tools/software to execute testing
  • Collaborating with other technical experts to ensure end to end plan and other technology solution components are also part of an overall end to end Network Integration plan
  • Support set up of customer trials and demonstrations
  • Key contributor and subject matter expert for design of IOT service delivery network with focus on detailed design and integration of end to end solution ensuring methodologies are robust and solution correctly scaled
  • Responsible for risk and issues management and mitigation for network integration deployment to ensure go live of service delivery
  • Support network evolution activities and expansion into new geographies
  • Work with 3rd Parties to ensure full end to end solution Integration is effectively planned and managed
  • Responsible for ensuring design supports service delivery quality, contractual service delivery, SLA s and KPI s for the overall service delivery
  • Development of test automation concepts/frameworks to be implemented
Experience
  • Experience of BSS integration/testing roles
  • Understanding of mobile call flows and functionality of each individual core elements incl PGW/GGSN, HSS/HLR, MME, SGW, DRA, SMSC, PCRF, STP, AAA etc.
  • Good understanding of the following:
    • Mobile Core Network, Packet core and virtual / Cloud core deployment
    • Connectivity Management platforms for IoT Service Delivery
  • Understanding of mobile core protocols and interfaces incl SS7/diameter protocol and interface including S6a, Gx and Gy, SGi, Gi, S6b, Radius, S6d, Ro
  • Have deep Integration planning expertise in BSS, Billing and Mediation in Mobile Networks in an IoT Context
  • Understanding of CDR formats, enrichments, mediation within billing system
  • Experience in hosted and cloud environments and eco systems of multiple 3 rd party solutions
  • Experience in IoT use cases and industry verticals for Mobile Network Operators and their customers
  • Practical debugging skills to problem solve configuration issues
Educational Requirement:
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject, backed by industry experience in the required discipline
