Requirement DetailsJob Title : - SPLUNK Administrator Vacancies : 9City : Noida , Uttar Pradesh , IndiaDescription:Purpose:The candidate will be completely responsible for SPLUNK on UNIX which is integrated with other tools in the environment.The position will require the candidate to install and upgrade SPLUNK instances and set up the same.Should have knowledge on monitoring configuration in SPLUNK.Should have knowledge on Standard Operating Procedures and troubleshooting in SPLUNK.The candidate will also be exposed to other monitoring tools like Sitescope , SNARE etc.Knowledge of scripting will be an added advantage.Should be open to work in 24x7 shifts and provide support to all other teams especially Data Center Operations.Context & relationships:SPLUNK will be integrated with other monitoring tools like EMC SMARTS and will need to provide extensive support to different Support Groups.Principle Accountability:Maintenance and support of SPLUNK in Complex Environment.Essential Skills:3 years experience in SPLUNK administration and implementation preferably in a service provider network with a very strong UNIX / Windows knowledge.Should possess strong scripting knowledge in PERL , Shell / VB , etc.Should have experience in Integrations with other tools / Service Desk.Should have a strong understanding of Networking , SNMP , MIBs , etc.Should have worked on various Solution templates (VM , SAP , Oracle , SQL , Netbackup , Weblogic , etc.).Should have been part of the team in High Availability configuration in a complex environment.Desired Skills:Experience in working as a part of a team involved in the implementation of SPLUNK for big Global customer.Should be a fast learner of various other tools and integrate where possible.Should possess good communication and interpersonal skills.Out of the Box Thinker with technical Savoir - faire.,
