Roles and responsibilities Provide technical support to internal and external customers Respond to the customer s technical queries, create case, troubleshoot the issue, collecting detailed and ensure address the case in given timeline. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide update to the status of call tickets, requests, projects, issues, and changes Troubleshoot problems and respond to inquiries in development, staging and production environments, including web servers, application servers, database servers and network systems Escalate the issue with detailed analysis for level 4 support and ensure timely resolution Lead or act as a key contributor of the Global technology operations Remotely support the network equipments of corporate network and production systems Build new servers following industry best practices and internal security policies and standards Document system build, network diagram, technical documents & processes Monitor the systems and network and participate in 24 7 on call duty The position require to work in late night or night shift Job qualifications & Professional skills:More than 5 years of experience as a systems engineer working on Linux / Unix platform Strong hands on experience administrating Linux Expert in Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, MySQL, including hardening, troubleshooting, configuring and installing. Ability to read and write administrative scripts in Perl, Bash & parsing logs Excellent understanding of networking concept , virtualization ,storage and database RHCE and CCNA certification preferred Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent documentation skills General guidelines: The ideal candidate will have production operations experience working with developers to support local systems. He /she will understand the importance of process and should volunteer examples of change control processes when asked about most tasks. The candidate should be experienced in quickly isolating and resolving issues and should be able to give specific examples of emergency troubleshooting. They should be ready to work closely with team members in the U.K. and U.S.Key role interactions: This role works very closely with the Global team members in the Network Engineering group including DBAs and Network Engineers. They also work regularly with the Development, QA and Partner Support groups Globally.,
