    Associate/ Sr. Associate IP - MechanicalWe are looking for Associate/ Senior Associate to join our patent analytics team in Noida/Mumbai. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the Fortune 100 clients to support them on various phases in IP Life cycle management. Our team consists of highly skilled IP professionals that love addressing clients technical and strategic needs through analysis of patents, and we would love to speak with you if you have the skills and the passion to do the same.About YouBachelors or Masters/PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering2 - 4 years in patent analysis and research domainsSelf-starter, meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsCandidates having proficiency in MS Excel tools, including chart/graph generation, data handling, etc. will be preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIt would be great if you also had . . .Working knowledge of analytical tools like PowerBI and TableauKnowledge on US/EP Patent LawsWhat will you be doing in this role Performing patent landscape studies, white space analysis and competitive benchmarking analysis, and generating insights from the sameAnalyzing patent data in various analytical tools (Excel, PowerBI, etc.)Conducting searches in patent and non-patent databasesAnalyzing data using statistical and qualitative means, categorizing patents and non-patent literature into technology/sub-technology areasPerforming various patent searches (for example, patentability, Freedom to Operate, patent validity/invalidity assessment, state of art, etc.)Hours of WorkThis is a full-time role requiring 45 hours per week based out of Noida/Mumbai, India (IST).It is the policy of Clarivate to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, pregnancy, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
