Job Description

    Mandatory skills:Mobile Automation using AppiumAPI Automation testingJavaSeleniumDetailed JD:Responsibilities:Developing code for quality automation and ensuring extensive unit test coverage of the codeBuilding, customizing, deploying, and managing the environment/ test automation frameworksChecking for product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performanceParticipating in design and architectural discussionsReviewing and debugging codeSign off on promoting new code through our deployment pipelinePreparing Test ReportsBuilding robust, scalable, and high quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testingExperience with testing UIs, Web service, Process WorkflowsGood knowledge of any QA automation framework (Selenium, Robot framework)Work collaboratively with all members of the Delivery and Test Teams utilizing agile methodology. Participate in requirement reviews, application assessment and feasibility analysis Participate in code/peer reviews with team members, developers and/or third party vendors. Participate in development of test data strategy and preparation of dataParticipate on continuous improvement efforts within the technology organizationProvide mentoring or coaching to junior test engineers, developers, testers and QARequirements:Minimum of 6-7 years of software development and automated testing experienceWilling to work 3AM to 12PM Eastern Standard TimeTechnical skills and programming languages should include but is not limited to: Java, JUnit, SQL RestAssured, Selenium Grid/WebDriver, Cucumber/Gherkin, Jmeter.Solid understanding of the software development lifecycleExperience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)Experience working in an agile engineering environment Experience with building solutions for digital platforms(Mobile,Web,etc), API s and backend Demonstrate knowledge of Quality Center, ALM, Jira, Rally or related tools Familiarity with software testing (unit, integration, functional, regression). Experience with source control, build and deployment tools such as Subversion, Jenkins, , Maven, Git, TeamCity, Chef. Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Gherkin, Ruby, Selenium, etc. Familiarity with web services standards and related technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, etc.). Experience working on Linux/Unix environment. Knowledge of database query tools and ability write and run SQL queries Must be able to multitask and work independently or in a team Excellent verbal, written communication and documentation skills ,
