Dear Candidates,Greetings from Binary Global Limited!!We have an Urgent opening in Storage Admin Team Lead for Greater Noida Location.Job Profile Team Lead -Understand architecture requirements of storage system ,backup software and ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities., Good understanding of the technology and domain., Ability to lead a team towards a desired goal., Ensure continual knowledge management., Adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes

• Responsible of L3 level support on Storage systems (HPe/NetApp/Dell EMC)
• configuration, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Storage systems
• Strong experience in backup management and disaster recovery administration. Hands on experience on the data migration tools, both array based and host based/non-array based. Provisioning storage to UNIX, Windows and ESX servers
• Manage security initiatives and processes as they pertain to data storage.
• Communicate problem resolutions to other team members and management, and own or participate in problem management process.
• Coordinate and assist in technical storage equipment installation/de-installation and relocation of services.
• Provide escalation support for all storage related problems.
• Maintain storage problem records and documentation, and operating procedures.
• Coordinate all storage monitoring activates to ensure optimal performance.
• Responsible for implementing and managing the enterprise storage environment.
• Responsible for performing production support activities for assigned storage systems to ensure the integrity and availability of the environment.
• Perform supporting file sharing across the environment and the integration of enterprise storage with Microsoft Windows, Citrix, and VMware virtual server environment.
• Install, upgrade, repair, maintain, and retire production and test environments to meet business demands and profile future enhancements.
• Configure, Implement, deploy, and support technologies including converged technology, NAS and SAN environments, fiber channel switched fabric, and associated physical and virtual servers.
• Provide efficient and reliable storage allocation and defines backup, recovery, archival procedures.
• Develops and implements business continuity practices for storage management.
• Monitors use and availability of storage resources.
• Maintains and modifies backup and recovery procedures to meet high availability and mission critical business needs.
• Troubleshoots storage related issues and takes appropriate actions.
• Generates reports and analysis on storage usage.
• Maintains storage configurations to provide capacity planning and performance monitoring/tuning of systems.
• Benchmarks, evaluates and makes recommendations for the selection of storage management software and hardware products.
• Responsible for the L3 level support of backup software VERITAS backupex ,Veeam ,Arcserve and Commvault platforms
• Works in a large mixed environment of both windows and Linux servers.
• Ability to build and design backup infrastructure.
• Ability to manage multiple tape libraries of backup infrastructure.
• Understands and has excellent knowledge and skills to trouble shoot backup software issues, tape issues, and storage issues.
• Needs to be proficient in policies and schedules, have the ability to create policies, and work with defined schedules is a must.
• Must thoroughly understand backup software through command line and through the GUI.
• Must understand Linux and Windows commands, and understand how to troubleshoot backup issues on both windows servers, and Linux servers.
• Must follow established company processes, including change management, incident management, and problem management processes
• Experience in Unix/Linux and windows operating systems,shell or PowerShell scripting and developing operational reports
• Escalate backup issues when necessary including opening support cases with OEM
• Understanding of patching and upgradation of backup software
