Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to drive Java based application design and development
  • Full stack development
  • Design and develop distributed, highly scalable, efficient, and fault-tolerant systems focused on creating solutions using Microservice architecture
  • Demonstrated success building dynamic, responsive applications for omni channel experience
  • Create Technical design documents
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to provide technical knowhow, solutions to complex business problems
  • Develop reusable assets, create knowledge repository
Candidate Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and programming skills with a strong understanding of principles behind the software architecture
  • Expert knowledge of: J2EE, Spring Framework, Cloud and container architectures (preferable Openshift or Tanzu), Hibernate/ JPA, Restful and Web services
  • Understanding of UI frameworks
  • Strong understanding of: Web Security, Relational Databases, Linux, JBoss, Spring Boot
  • Experience in taking the projects from the requirements phase to the delivery phase using the full software development life cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and multitask effectively
  • Work with business users, business analysts and team members to understand the business needs when involved in a project
  • Ability to influence and implement best practices, solutions and processes
  • Ability to turn around ambiguous state to well defined scope of work and end state with clear articulation and drive implementation being a change and transformation catalyst
  • Knowledge in BFSI preferable
Must Have
  • Be a self-starter, and work well in a team
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience on working in Agile methodologies like SCRUM
  • Experience of creating responsive applications for web, mobile and tablets
  • Expert in multiple languages and tools. Strong knowledge in emerging technologies
  • Good understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies such knowledge to support the needs of the business
  • JSON Rest APIs
  • Single Page Application state management leveraging browser storage and in-memory databases
  • Experience in front end technologies ReactJS, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript
  • Experience of developing Cloud native applications
  • Exposure to design and develop applications on any one Azure/AWS/Google Cloud
  • Exposure to Tanzu/Openshift
  • Automation using any of the tools like Selenium (Java), Postman, Junit, SoapUI, Tosca, User Analytics Testing, Data Analytics Testing, RPA, JMeter
  • Experience in using CICD tooling
  • Understanding of implementing tools for security - Voltage, Sonatype, WebInspect, Fortify, MFA (Ping, Centrify, Access Manager), LDAP
  • Exposure to containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes is preferred
  • Exposure to Oracle, MySQL, AWS Elastic block store
  • Understanding of serverless architecture
