The Technical Architect is responsible for the overall technical design and build of the custom elements of the solution. The Technical Architect will work as a team member along with the Project Manager, Developer and Customer technical team to deliver the complete solution for the customer.RESPONSIBILITIES: - Technical Architect to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements - Produce a detailed technical design document to match the solution design specifications - Complete/ oversee the custom development and quality assurance efforts for custom work - Participate and lead, when needed, the project meetings with the customer - Manage multiple development designs and projects to meet project and customer required time lines. - Emphasis and enforce best practices as well as design patterns - Learn and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, designs and solutions - Provide Training to team as required - Identifying the organizations needs - Breaking down large scale projects into manageable modules - Working out which IT products to use based on cost benefit analysis and research Agreeing plans with the client - Explaining to designers and developers whatrsquos required and overseeing the progress - Producing documents that monitor progress and ensure the quality of the project - Advising the client on managing future IT needsRequired skills- - Good communication with clients/ operational managers listening and providing answers - Strong problem solving skills - UML diagrams and tools - Ability to build from good relationships with clients/ operational managers and colleagues - Ability to gather and assimilate information - Up to date knowledge of technical applications - Good knowledge of quality standards, legislation and best practice - Ability to be adapt and prioritise - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutionsPREFERRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE: - Ideal candidate must be self- motivated with a proven track record in Cloud technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities. Additional preferred qualifications are; B.Sc./ B. Tech. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
