Job Description

    A technical manager generally oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of technological company systems and processes, including troubleshooting any potential issues. They are responsible for making key decisions that relate to continuous improvement within all areas of technical operations, and managing the teams that are developing materials. A technical manager wears a lot of hats as their role is regulatory, operational and commercial.Technical Manager Responsibilities
    • Evaluating CIS integration and efficiency.
    • Alerting management about CIS development, execution, and progress.
    • Working together with the development team and other departments.
    • Considering and incorporating user feedback while developing appropriate solutions.
    • Looking after CIS implementation and innovation.
    • Managing support teams and setting performance metrics.
    • Monitoring CIS user adjustments and testing.
    • Delivering products and services on time.
    • Ensuring products and services are offered without exceeding the allocated budget.
    • Managing hardware and software installations.
    • Keeping track of when hardware and software need upgrades.
    • Managing computer network infrastructure and ensuring network security.
    • Interviewing, recruiting, and training staff for the IT team.
    • Developing and leading computer system projects.
    • Creating and standardizing the procedures for producing reports.
    • Running performance evaluations on current systems.
