Our offering ranges from being eyes and ears of Azure Network in Networking Monitoring, Software Define Network provides connectivity between various workloads/resources/services with sophisticated software layover on top of physical Networks. Hybrid Networks comprising of Application and Content delivery Network, Express Route, VPN and DNS catering to various connectivity scenarios. All of this runs on top of a hyperscale network that spans across the globe with 190K miles of terrestrial and sub-sea fiber with presence at over 190 Edge PoPs providing secure and reliable connectivity through our global WAN backbone to our customers. Responsibilities We are looking for a technical program manager to lead our efforts to launch and enhance data center network infrastructure. Work with engineering team to design architecture and integrate data center network solutions. Prioritize work, determine success criteria and performance metrics. Drive feature crew to orchestrate and integrate efforts for the development and implementation process of data center network buildout. Track, coordinate, and communicate end-to-end project schedules. Manage and stage implementation plan. Drive compliance with processes, regulations, policies, standards that must be met throughout the buildout lifecycle. Help in validating outcomes, and targets that are expected. You will use your leadership and organizational skills to communicate requirements and drive implementation across the many teamsThe scope of responsibilities includes:
• Develop and drive design and integrated solutions for technical needs across areas such as scale, build out, capacity, performance , etc.
• Drive large-scale initiatives typically involving multiple internal teams and develop strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to drive alignment.
• Be the connection and orchestration point for other technical resources working across Microsoft Cloud services.
• Continuous improvements through changes in product design and various initiatives/programs that improve quality, profitability, supportability, and delivery
• Track/follow up on program deliverables and clear blockers/escalations for internal teams.
Qualifications
• Bachelors (or higher) degree in Engineering. (Advanced technical degree or MBA a plus)
• 5+ years of related experience in Networking or large-scale cloud implementations
• Knowledge of Networking fundamentals, Data Center build out/operations in a Cloud environment and Automation experience.
• Program Management experience with strong problem-solving, analytical and influencing skills
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with remote teams.
• Excellent ability to prioritize, plan, and track large scale programs
• Demonstrated leadership and exceptional cross-team skills.
