Position Title/Role : Technology Manager Level : Senior ManagerKey Skill : JavaPosition Type : PermanentTitle/Name this Position Reports to : CTO Job Summary : Binary Informatics is looking for a technical leader who will be responsible for the solutioning and implementation of mission critical application for its global clients largely ISVs/SMEs/ Start-Ups. The Role will be responsible for designing the application services and/or application components to support and automate a specific business process or capability. He should be able to communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to facilitate understanding of the detailed application-level design of the services and components for business wins and for coding. Job Details : - Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. The person is to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.- Should be able to create and execute development plans across multiple projects and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Possesses significant knowledge of client/server and internet systems architectures and accurately suggests the use of the appropriate technology for the application.- The role also includes effective communication with project and delivery management, product manager(s), customer-side technical and project touch points. Communication shall include discussions about requirements, team meetings, technical hand-holding, architecture, framework and design decision-making, work-breakdowns- Use stakeholders- feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology- Build quality assurance and data protection processes- Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.- Oversee progress of the development team - Communicate all concepts and guidelines to the development team - Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers - Approve final product along with CTO before launch - Develop high level product specifications Candidate Requirements : Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) :Knowledge : - Experience in taking projects from concept to production- Software development experience across coding, design, architecture- Hands on knowledge to provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration across multiple client engagements from definition phase through implementation- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy- Awareness of design patterns - Strong Agile development knowledge Primary Skills : - Proficiency in Java with full stack development experience using frameworks and libraries - Strong integration skills- Strong API skills (consuming APIs)- Building Micro-services- Excellent communication skills- Develop high level specification - Collaborative skills both in virtual and conventional work environment - Leadership and organizational abilities- Write software requirement specification - Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and UIs Secondary Skills :- Understanding of budgets and business-planning- System design thinking - Negotiation skills Abilities & Qualification:- Educational Preference : A person who is a pass out from a premier Education institute.- Certifications from PMI - Should in the previous roles have clear experience in leading a major project that included negotiating resources, creating project plans and time lines, designing solution, identifying and removing roadblocks on nonfunctional requirements, was hands on implementation etc. - BI is not mentioning any specific minimum number of years of experience as this role is more about expertise and passion to lead and its our conviction that not necessary years of experience leads to specific level of expertise or competence - .it is fine for us hence to know that person has handled variety of responsibilities at a certain level in a specific environment which helped him gain competence than be looking for a specific number of years.,
