Job Description

Job Purpose - Is primarily into managerial role with specific task of ensuring that all control reports for the unit is in order. Is in-charge of driving process improvements in changing business scenario, liaising with various seniors in Business, Credit, Legal, BPRG, etc. for enabling business & seeking policy / legal clarifications, ensuring Satisfactory audit report for the function as a whole, ensuring Business Continuity Plan (BCP), liaising with statutory auditors for providing clarifications, devising the framework for Sox audit in coordination with Fincon team, working with ORM team for arriving at the risk framework for the function & re-calibrating extant processes to mirror the new requirements, attending important reviews / presentations to senior management like BCRC (Basel), periodic Ops review, initiating process notes to appropriate stake holders for signoff, providing expert guidance to processing team on unique cases, etc. Additionally, is also in-charge of ensuring that staffs are well motivated to carry out the assigned tasks & meet ever new challenges, unit is optimally staffed to meet business requirements & ensure work-life balance of staff. Further, certain administrative activities like approval of travel, expenses incurred on various account, etc. fall under the ambit of unit head. Job Responsibilities: Processing Teams CAMs/Limit release/Post monitoring Unit/Mortgage/Call back/Reporting team. 1. Ensuring that TAT committed to Business as per SLA is honoured on an ongoing basis. 2. Ensuring 100% accuracy in document scrutiny, CAM checking, data capture in core / support & CLIMS system, and limit setting. 3. Ensuring that Basel requirements like RAM rating, RAROC, Security Value capture & linkage, PAN, updation, NPA Rule Id, etc. happen accurately as they have CAPAD / RAROC impact. To work closely with Basel team to identify areas for automation / mistake-proofing, to reduce probability of wrong data capture. 4. Ensuring Satisfactory audit report for the function, which has its roots in running seamless processes, proactively identifying & addressing potential risks, etc. 5. Coordinating with Credit / Legal for appropriate clarifications suo moto / basis business contention. 6. Handling complicated / unique cases & providing guidance to team leader / authorizer. 7. Digital Signing of CHG-1 & CHG-4 for creation & satisfaction of charge with ROC. 8. Providing operational framework to team leaderfor implementing new processes that arenecessitated by change in Credit policy, legalrequirement & / or business dynamics, or basisinternal review, and ensuring ongoing adherencebasis periodic reviews. 9. To have a solution-oriented approach to problemswith due weight to compliance & business. 10. To ensure timely & accurate reporting to RBI /Board / RPMC / senior management after effectivecoordination with other Ops, Credit & Business verticals. a. Effectively coordinate with various stakeholders, viz., Business, Credit, BPRG, Fincon, IT, IRBS team, Compliance, etc. forautomation, reporting requirements. 11. Conducting periodic meetings with businesssegments to elicit feedback, share concerns, etc.,and work on fixing the issues for better customerexperience. 12. People management to ensure that staffs arewell motivated to achieve organization objectivesby effectively & objectively using the tools ofReward & Recognition program, appraisal, etc. Toensure training, grooming for higher positions, jobrotation, timely filling of open positions, careerpath, work-life balance, etc. for the entire unit. 13. Undertake projects / periodic housekeepingactivities of entire function to ensure data relevance in a dynamic business environment. 14. Getting periodic T & M study done for optimalstaffing of the unit, set productivity benchmarks,assess staff performance against benchmarks,adopting corrective measures to improve meanperformance of the unit, etc. 15. Work on STP / automation, by identifying painareas & partnering with Business & BPRG. 16. Identify areas for enhanced controllership, costreduction, productivity improvement, etc. 17. Use internal MIS reports as a barometer formeasuring process lacunae, do RCA to diagnosereal problems and tailor-make solutions to fix thempermanently. 18. Support other Ops functions of the bank incompleting ad hoc mega projects in a timelyfashion by marshalling resources. 19. Preparation of BIA document & Recoverydocument as per RBI guidelines. 20. Conduct BCP on a periodic basis and submit reportto Ops seniors & BPRG. 21. Work with Sox & ORM team to devise audit / riskframework, and tweak processes to mirror therequirements until next review. 22. Drive CSR initiatives of the bank / Ops vertical, andensure handsome participation of the team in extra-curricular activities of the function. Educational Qualifications

  • Graduation / Post-Graduation
