Job Description

  1. Previous working experience as a PHP Developer for 2-4 years
  2. BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar relevant field
  3. Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Yii)
  4. Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
  5. Understanding of MVC design patterns
  6. Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Kohana, CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.)
  7. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  8. Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
  9. Understanding accessibility and security compliance
  10. Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
  11. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  12. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  13. Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
  14. Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
  15. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  16. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
  17. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  18. Knowledge of APIs, such as twitter, Facebook, Google maps, Instagram, etc.
  19. Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap
We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
