Job details:

  • Candidates will be taking care of the Qube Cinema Equipments which are installed in the theatres.
  • All Movies are played through Qube server. So as QTS Ingest he will be responsible for loading Films/Ads into these servers on Wednesday and Thursday night for Fridays Movie releases and from Friday to Sunday need to provide Tech Support (Trouble shooting).

Profile for a QTS Ingest/Engineer
  • Selected candidate (referred to as the Incumbent) will train (one year probation period) to be a Field Support Engineer responsible for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of digital cinema equipment in India.
  1. The incumbent would initially undergo 1 to 2 months training at Qube Cinema office in Mumbai. Extensive on field training would happen subsequently. Joining and Training will happen only in Mumbai. All arrangements will be done by us.
  2. The nature of the work entails the incumbent being available 24/7-365.
  3. Training would normally cover planned activities such as equipment installation, maintenance, software & hardware up gradation, content ingesting as well as trouble shooting, VSAT maintenance
  4. As most theatres run 4 shows a day, most of the planned maintenance and other work at the theatre site would happen pre-shows, post shows or in-between shows. Trouble-shooting would, however, need to be carried out immediately upon any need arising.
  5. As movies are released on weekends and festival times, it would not be possible to take time off during these periods.
  6. The work profile also necessitates extensive travel by bus, carrying a tool kit (which contains: a computer monitor, a hard drive, keyboard etc.) and occasionally by other means of transport as well.
  7. Travel cost can be reimbursed. Food & accommodation within pre-defined monetary limits will also be provided by the company
  8. In the event the incumbent were to leave the training prior to completion, s(he) shall be liable to make good the training expenses incurred by the Company, as per the details mentioned below:
  9. a) If the incumbent leaves the training before completion of three months from the date of joining as a Trainee, s(he) shall reimburse the company an amount equivalent to three months Gross Salary.
  10. b) If the incumbent leaves the training after completion of three months but before completion of twelve months from the date of joining as a Trainee, s(he) shall reimburse the company an amount equivalent to six months Gross Salary.
