Roles and Responsibilities1. Co-ordination with the Head Quarters Office of RGI, Directorates of Census operations (DCOs), Data Centers located in the DCOs, Departments of States/UTs, other government agencies, and various field functionaries, as the case may be, in various matters relating to Census,2021 and Updation of NPR.2. Planning, monitoring, and supervision of activities of personnel /agencies concerned with the above work.3. Undertaking regular inspection and field visits for proper monitoring of work and for ensuring the quality of Data/Inputs to be provided by the field functionaries.4. Tabulation/ Compilation/ Analysis of data/inputs/ abstracts received from the field functionaries and drafting reports based on the same as and when required.5. The Consultant engaged for EDP work, in addition to the item (1) to (3) above will also be responsible for work relating to data processing ( Including system analysis and design), Software development /Computer application development, management of data dissemination, network administration, etc.6. The Consultant engaged for Map relating work will in addition to the item (1) to (3) above be responsible for coordinating/ implementing the cartographic work in ORGI Head Quarters and DCOs.7. The Consultant engaged for work relating to administration will, in addition to the item (1) and (3) above to be responsible for the supervision of Administrative /Establishment / Accounts related work ORGI Head Quarters and DCOs and Maintenance/Updation of relevant records.Desired Candidate ProfileQualification & Experience: 1. Bachelors degree from a recognized University in Geography or Diploma in Civil Engineering/Computer Science 2. One - Three-years of experience in map production or applied Cartography h [Remote Sensing GIS/ Digital Cartography/ Administration / Accounts/ Budget work.
