ALBACORE MARINE INDIA PVT LTDDear Candidate,We are Hiring For Millwright Fitter Hiring For All India & Abroad,Role: Millwright Fitter Millwright Fitter Job DescriptionMillwrights work in factories, power plants and other industrial settings to move, assemble, install or dismantle machinery. They are incredibly skilled at their job, understanding how a number of different machines work after reading complicated technical plans. The machines they construct may take days or weeks, and they may work solo or in a team.When a factory is updating its equipment, you will see ain all aspects of their job. They will carefully take apart, categorize and store or move old equipment, analyze plans for new equipment, map out space and unpack and assemble new equipment. Millwrights also repair worn or broken parts.Millwrights need to be good with tools as well as reading plans, and be comfortable using large equipment like trucks and cranes.Common duties and responsibilities that a Millwright would have to perform involve the following:

• Plan, prepare and set up for the job.
• Interpret drawings and performs mathematical calculations.
• Designing and fabricating the equipment and parts for meeting the special or unusual needs, using the manufacturer specifications, calculator, measuring devices, drawings etc.
• Select appropriate materials for each job.
• Experienced with rigging and hoisting. Build or dismantle machines.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and have the ability to come up with solutions to fix mechanical problems and keep equipment running smoothly.
• Working with your hands and tools to fix hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components such as cylinders, pumps, conveyors, motors, valves, and bearing assemblies.
• Installing or removing any special equipment like grinder, power and hand tools etc.
• Designing and creating holding jigs that aid in fabrication of the parts in various numbers.
• Maintaining a record of all the work completed so as to facilitate the accounting activities.

Millwright Skills and Specifications Skills and specifications frequently sought from a Millwright are likely to include the following:

• Knowledge of safety precautions related to occupational hazards, procedures and practices of the trade.
• Follow company safety policies and safe work practices.
• Skilled in identifying the proper power and hand tools in the safest possible manner and various
• Skilled in operating at least some type of vehicles like trucks, forklifts, elevated work platforms/scissor lifts, etc.
• Ability to work at shop or travel to client locations.
• General knowledge of Health and Safety including Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations for Industrial Establishments and Construction, Hazard Recognition, Material Handling Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Machine Guarding, and Electrical Safety.
• Organizational skills ensuring work is performed in an efficient manner.
• Fluent in English with communication skills including written (reports, timesheets, work orders, etc.); verbal (employees, managers)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volume workload.
• Have required tools and personal protective equipment suitable to construction environments. (CSA approved steel-toed work boots).
• Occasionally assists with the lifting of heavy and awkward product which may be up to 100 lbs.
• Bondable, have a valid drivers license and ability to provide a drivers abstract.

Millwright Education and Qualification Educational qualifications that a Millwright must have are likely to include the following:

• Certificate of Qualification in either the Industrial Millwright Trade Code 433 A or Construction Millwright Trade Code 426 A.
• Alternatively, an apprentice in the above trades that will be writing their COQ soon. (Minimum of 4 years experience)
• Accurate with numbers and enjoy working with them.
• Basic knowledge of welding symbols and blueprint reading skills.
• Ability to work with complicated welding tools like ox-fuel, plasma, mag-drills, chainsaws etc.
