Technician,Hiring For All India & Abroad,Role: N.D.T.TechnicianJob DescriptionNDT technicians, also known as nondestructive testing technicians, utilize a variety of technologies to inspect products and materials for structural flaws. This can include a wide range of techniques, including radiography, ultrasound, current testing, and permeability testing. NDT technicians perform these tests on many different materials, most notably welded metal and concrete.This is a highly technical role requiring familiarity with one or more methods of nondestructive testing and a good eye for detail, data interpretation, and imaging analysis. Most NDT technicians achieve levels of certification, and some technical schools offer associates degrees in nondestructive testing technology.SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITY

Physical Demands:.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   • Must be able to work on hands and knees and crawl into tight spaces (kneeling/squatting up to 5-20 minutes up to 20 times per hour.)
  • Must be able to work in environment with extreme heat or cold temperatures
  • Ability to work in limited lighting
  • Potential to work in elevated heights
  • Must be able to lift up to 280 lbs. with the assistance of another person from a start height of 6-9 inches to an end height of 36-49 inches from the floor up to 1 time per hour.
  • Must be able to lift up to 280 lbs. with assistance of another person from a start height of 30 inches from the floor and carry a distance of 10 feet up to 1 time per hour.
  • Must be able to push/pull with a fore up to 30 lbs. a distance of 10 feet up to 1 time per hour.
  • Must be able to push/pull with a force up to 102 lbs. up to 1 time per hour.
Job Qualifications
  • Typically requires associates degree or equivalent with nine or more years of experience. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Ability and willingness to work on systems which have unusual conditions such as high pressure, high voltage, high energy, cryogens, or radioactive materials.
  • Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field required.
  • Must have analytical ability to read and understand detailed instructions, drawings and specifications.
  • Communication skills necessary to write and record precise information.
  • Special skills and expertise to use complex equipment or experimental techniques.
