The work included installation of mechanical equipments fabrication and installation of connecting Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel pipe work, installation of chemical dosing equipment and pipe work, installation of pump stations, pressure testing.** Receiving the approved drawing for fabrication. ** Preparing the fabrication schedule according to priority. ** Preparing the spool pack for traceability. ** Allocating the task according to the ability of fore mans.** Preparing the material request according to the requirement of spool. ** Inspect the pipes and piping materials as per specification. ** Visual inspection and receiving the materials from store. ** Guiding the sub ordinate and workers regarding proper use of tools and tackles. ** Resolving field problems and liaison client under the supervision of Mech. Engg. and process Depts. ** Adherence to construction safety and special safety requirement for working at plant. ** Allocation of jobs among various working groups. ** During the fabrication activities visual inspection of pipes and all fittings, edge preparation, fit up of the pipe, welding quality of the pipe and D.P.T.* Inspection of the work to adhere to strict Quality Maintenance. ** Controlling & Monitoring of resources, Manpower, Materials, Equipments etc. ** Planning of Work and scheduling ** Work permit management for safe working ** Ensuring proper Safety systems at the work place ** Records keeping & File work for administrative purposePiping Supervisor Skills
