This position is expected to work on new product development, sourced product, new solutions development, product compliance and product certifications working with third party lab or agencies. This position would interact with global cross functional team, interact with customers, analyse and provide solutions to field problems, work under the mentorship of manager and be responsible for successful completion of projects/tasks. Understand product requirement, develop schedule, prepare concepts and convert them into workable designs, resolve technical challenges, present in design reviews, work with suppliers on parts development, and participate in testing and qualifying parts and subsystem of the product.Responsibilities: 1. Strong fundamentals in Mechanical Engineering.2. Flexible to work in New product development, solution engineeringbased on customer requirement, understand customer/fieldproblems and provide solutions and support Life cycle engineeringactivities .3. Experience in detail design and development of parts/ machineries.4. Experience in material selection, defining manufacturing toleranceand Heat treatment on parts.5. Experience in addressing field product issues & mitigation steps thru DFMEA, A3, pareto and other problem solving tools.6. Proficient & experience in using Creo modules like modeling,detailing and surfacing.7. Understanding of engineering workflow & PLM system (Windchill).8. Experience in using GD&T and Tolerance stack up is essential.9. Understanding of Pneumatic products & basic knowledge onelectrical systems preferred.10. Knowledge on different standards/Directive used during productdevelopment cycle & certification.11. Should be a team player and possess the ability to work in a team.12.
