As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of. database management, data modeling, SQL, as well as some experience with Python and cloud infrastructure. Experience with Snowflake, ETL processes, dbt, and AWS will complement this role well.Responsibilities:1. Design and implement scalable and efficient data solutions.2. Develop and maintain database systems and ensure their performance, security, and integrity.3. Work with our architect and help lead the conceptual design and data modeling efforts to meet business requirements.4. Implement and optimize ETL processes for seamless data integration.5. Utilize Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics purposes.6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.7. Work closely with cloud-based technologies, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.8. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.9. Provide guidance and growth opportunities for your junior engineering staff.You Should Have Most Of These Qualifications1. Proven history of achievement in a Data Engineer position or similar data-centric role spanning 5 to 8 years.2. Proficiency in SQL is a must, accompanied by expertise in an additional non-database programming language of your preference.3. Hands-on expertise in utilizing Snowflake, executing ETL processes, employing dbt, and navigating cloud infrastructure.4. Extensive background in data governance and adeptness in user role management.5. Capacity to take a leadership role in guiding junior engineers and actively contributing to the complete data engineering lifecycle.6. Outstanding problem-solving acumen coupled with effective communication skills.7. Established ability to thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment.8.
