Job DescriptionReporting to the Executive Director, Supply Chain, the General Manager- Supply Chain shall be responsible for coordinating supply chain of drugs and equipment in the state of Uttar Pradesh including warehouse operations, management and distribution of supplies.Key Roles and Responsibilities:1) Ensuring supply of drugs, consumables and medical equipment in the state by doing continuous adequacy planning as per demands;2) Overseeing inventory analysis and management for drugs at UPMSC warehouses and ensuring that the inventory norms are followed;3) Supervising timely generation of Purchase order recommendations to ensure fast and efficient release of Purchase Orders and distribution of drugs and consumables;4) Overseeing the performance of operations at all the warehouses related to Stock handling, Store-keeping, MIS Operations, Logistics etc. and ensuring smooth functioning as per the pre-defined norms;5) Ensuring that stock-outs are adequately monitored at all warehouses and fulfillments are managed in a timely manner;6) Coordinating with the Quality Control division to enable fast and efficient quality assurance process at all the drug warehouses;7) Monitoring the distribution of drugs from warehouses to health facilities in the state and ensure safe and timely delivery;8) Ensuring that the manpower and talent pool are trained and well equipped for managing the procurement and logistics of drugs and equipment.QualificationsQualification:EssentialApplicants must have a B.Tech degree from a recognized university/ institution.DesirableApplicants with MBA in Supply Chain Management shall be preferred.Experience:EssentialApplicants must have minimum 10 years of experience of which five years should be in Supply chain management.Desirable1) Applicants with deep understanding of procurement and logistics cycle for drugs and medical equipment shall be preferred.2) Experience in auto/ pharma industry.Skills and Attitude:1) In-depth knowledge of inventory management;2) Ability to develop and institutionalize operational processes and controls;3) People Management skillsQualification : Essential Applicants must have a B.Tech degree from a recognized university/ institution.Desirable Applicants with MBA in Supply Chain Management shall be preferred.Experience : Essential Applicants must have minimum 10 years of experience of which five years should be in Supply chain management.Desirable 1) Applicants with deep understanding of procurement and logistics cycle for drugs and medical equipment shall be preferred.2) Experience in auto/ pharma industry.Skills and Attitude : 1) In-depth knowledge of inventory management;2) Ability to develop and institutionalize operational processes and controls;3) People Management skills,
