Job titleSr. Engineer Mechanical or ElectricalReports to AVP-Engineering & MaintenanceJob Purpose:-Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance of Boiler, Thermopac, Air Compressor, ETP, Dyeing Machines, ETP, , Dyeing Machine Maintenance , Steam dryers, DG sets, Transformer and all Mechanical and Electrical Equipments.Duties and Responsibilities:-- Responsibility of all Mechanical and Electrical maintenance of Boilers, Thermopac, Air Compressors, ETP, RO, Softening Plant , Water supply, DG sets, all types of pumps, hydrant systems , HVAC and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical equipments.- Maintenance of Dyeing machines, Steam Dryers, Pressing machines and other production machines of textiles.- Adherence of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule.- Timely organization of all consumables & spares required for operation & maintenance of utilities and all machines.- Regularly monitoring the inventory of spares and arrangement for the same where required.- To generate indents for material procurement and providing complete technical specification of spares.- Enforcing safety measures for safety of personnel and equipment and elimination of fire hazards.- Implementation of the various requirements under different statutory regulations and buyers requirements.- Checking of daily logbooks for each shift and Appraise Department Head about daily progress / problems.- To maintain the 5S activities and housekeeping in the department.Qualifications:-Education- BE/ Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringSpecialized knowledge :- Steam, Hydraulics, Pneumatics systems, PLCSkills : ComputerAbilities: To handle the Engineering and Maintenance team.
