Job Description

Key areas: 2D Game ArtistPhotoshop and IllustratorExperience: 2+ yearsResponsibilities:Job Location: Gurgaon, HaryanaResponsibilities:

  • Create 3D game art for all aspects of games, including characters, backgrounds, props, Weapons, display art, title logo and marketing assets.
  • Create both high resolution and optimized 3D models, UVs, and Textures for game assets.
  • Create textures that are stylized, hand painted techniques.
  • A solid understanding of form, silhouette, colour and lighting.
  • Collaborates with Art Director, Game Designer to finalize 3D assets for each project. Provides artwork for review at appropriate stages and applies feedback accordingly with quick turnaround.
  • Modifies game art under tight deadlines. Understands a broad range of game types, products, and platforms. Can complete complex data setup of complex game art parts, and use new techniques,
  • products, and platforms with some support.
  • Understands development process for game art development, handles data setup.
  • Aligns each game s art creation with the functional spec/graphic proposal, including conceptual art and storyboards. Creates animations focusing on visual reinforcement of game rules and game flow.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or diploma in Visual Arts, Graphic Design or equivalent.
  • 2 to 4 years experience in AAA games and/or casual/ casino slot games.
  • Expertise in Maya, Z-Brush, Photoshop.
  • Understanding of interactive game art standards (theme, colour, appeal, user interface design).
  • Unity experience preferred.
  • Must provide a portfolio of work that showcases the level of competence in animation.
