Job Description

  • Monitor and maintain spreadsheet of LIBOR, SOFR, Treasury and Wall Street rate indices: (1) On the first day of each month, check three URLs for current monthly rates from indices. (2) On the first Monday of each month check eight URLs for currently monthly rates from indices. (3) Document on accumulative index spreadsheet once both (1) and (2) are complete. (4) Email updated spreadsheet to email groups.
  • Monitor consumer credit counseling lists for Expere preforeclosure (7 states only): (1) Each quarter (January, April, July, October) check each states web site; (2) check date on counselor list located on the web site and compare to previous quarter s date; (3) If dates are different, compare against state list in TFS used for products; (4) Create a markup to show changes; (4) Create Change Event in VAST and attach markup.
  • Monitor Model Forms: (1) each month manually check web sites from spreadsheet of model forms; (2) each day monitor email notifications from Workbench for model form changes; (3) when changes are detected, highlight changes in the pdf, (4) create a Change Event in VAST with PDF attachment.
  • Monitor Case Law: (1) Each Monday organize Lexis Advance email notifications by federal and state, then line of business Boolean results; (2) Use the case law spreadsheet to determine the assignment rotation each week; (3) Create email to assignment resource pool team member, cc-ing all other team members for back-up review.
  • Monitor for enacted / adopted legislation: (1) Review email notifications from StateNet for tracked legislation that has changed to enacted / adopted status. (2) Add information to Change Event in VAST.
  • Create change events: Each day monitor change event folder in Teams and create Changes Events in VAST as needed.
  • Create word comparisons: When a bill or regulation text does not show changes then compare statute/regulation text as directed by Monitoring Team.
  • Other tasks as directed by Monitoring Team.
  • Contributes significantly to the development and maintenance of our compliance-based products
  • May participate on special projects
  • Obtains and applies a working knowledge of current technologies in the specific business unit
  • Makes efforts to understand customer and market, applies this understanding to enhance products
Education:
  • Paralegal degree certificate, (LLB India equivalent) with 4 years of practical experience in compliance and US based regulation research.
Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in compliance and regulation research
  • Must have strong and broad computer systems and applications knowledge
  • Must be analytical
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be flexible and responsive to change
  • Must have understanding of markets and customer needs
  • Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: Excellent Proficiency with Word and Excel computer programs, as well as internet knowledge.
