Job Description

  • The role will be responsible for planning, monitoring and executing key demands/projects as per the business requirements in SAP/ERP and related web/mobile applications having good process and domain knowledge in Finance, procurement & HR domain.
  • Needs to actively contribute and manage key project phases like requirement gathering & analysis, solution design, effort estimation, project planning, development, testing, QA, migration, rollout and transition as per the agreed timelines.
  • The role requires close interaction with various business functions like Finance, SCM, HR as well as other internal IT functions like AO, IM, Release, Delivery excellence, circle IT, SSC & VSSI team. The role also requires collaborating with multiple managed service partners to plan & manage IT deliveries consistently within agreed timelines, cost and quality benchmarks in hosted model on public cloud.
Key accountabilities and decision ownershipTimely and qualitydelivery of key demands/projects across enterprise wide applications in ERP/SAP domain (ABAP, Basis, CBM, FIN, SCM, BW, BO, BI, FI, CO, CRM, MM, SRM, HR, PI,Portal etc) with minimal severity issues due to the complex deliveries. Tracking, monitoring and controlling activities as per project plan in line with business requirements in ERP/SAP domain.
  • Manage a team of internal and 3rd party resources that focus in development of web / mobile based applications using various technologies on SAP and non-SAP environment
  • Inter-function coordination with AO, QA, Release Management and Demand Management for planned deliveries in line with release cycles (major release, mid
  • release, drops etc) taking care of monthly/yearly closures and year end freezes.
  • Reviews and vets through impacts of requestsfor change ensuring proper risk mitigation in place for changes. Troubleshoot/problem solve production issues as they arise. Ensure operational readiness of development efforts including monitoring, alerting, supportability of change including post Go-Live support, hyper care adopting DevOps model
  • Support future requirements and technologies like SuccessFactors, Cloud, HANA, AI, Robotics, Automation and merger and related activities. Propose process improvement and efficiency through these levers.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
  • Overall 10-12 years of IT Telecom domain experience
  • 4-6 years of rich experience of developing/delivering large size projects using Agile model in ERP/SAP domain with expertise in at least two modules from the following - ABAP, Basis, CBM, FIN, SCM, BW, BO, BI, FI,CO, CRM, MM, SRM, HR, PI, Portal etc. Should have worked on interfaces and Hyperion.
  • Proficiency in effort estimation technique such as Story Point, FPA will be an added advantage
  • Partner/Vendor and stakeholder management and resource optimization.
  • Strong skills for prioritizing & delivery of business/ regulatory requirements. Exposure to S4/HANA technology platform.

  • Delivery on time within set quality parameter as per project schedule.
  • Support & facilitating UAT/QA/OAT and release as per the agreed timelines
  • Delivery of key change requests / projects as per plan agreed with business
, Must have technical / professional qualifications:
  • BE (Computer)/MCA
  • Good domain knowledge and exposure to various development methodologies and solution frameworks like Agile, Waterfall, SDLC etc.
  • Certified Agile Scrum Master/ Agilecertified practitioner (ACP), DevOps Certified.
  • Certified PMP/Prince 2
  • Analytical & Negotiation Skills.
