Job Description

The Capital Markets AI/ML CoE team is a horizontal CoE for Capital Markets that is helping us drive revenue and bring significant savings to our businesses by identifying, exploring, and implementing AI/ML solutions.The Capital Markets is one of the three verticals in FIS. It has various products and solutions in funds management, cleared derivatives, commercial lending, corporate treasury, insurance risk electronic trading, RegTech, wealth and retirement etc.The team consists of highly motivated solution architects, data scientists and ML engineers.What you will be doingAs a Data Scientist, you will be working cutting-edge AI/ML solutions across the organization.What you bring:Knowledge / Experience

  • Proven working experience in data analysis and ML modeling.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts around regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction etc.
  • Experience in Computer vision or Natural Language Processing or anomaly detection area.
  • Experience in using Agile / Lean practices and methodologies
  • Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
  • Knowledge of the financial services marketplace
Skills
  • Hands on with Python and other any programming language.
  • Hands on with frameworks and libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, pandas etc.
  • Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally as well as externally
  • Innovative thinking
QualificationsBachelor s degree in business or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experienceCompetencies
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communicator ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
  • Attention to detail track record of authoring high quality documentation
  • Organized approach manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
  • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
