Job Description

*DescriptionResponsible to perform intermediate/advanced IT Compliance activities for designated region/locations and perform global Segregation of Duties activitiesResponsibilities

  • Prepare and assist in SOX Compliance practices for Oracle/Other legacy systems: GRC reports for Segregation of Duties conflict reviews and remediation actions, Coordinate annual access review with Oracle/Other legacy system owners
  • Perform Compliance Review for Oracle Implementation projects as per Stage Gate process requirements
  • Perform periodic data checks for main IT systems to ensure Leavers IT control requirements are meet; identify issues/process gaps and propose solutions
  • Participate in pre-IT audit review processes: past IT Audit findings reviews to ensure the corrective actions were implemented and working as expected
  • Participate and coordinate the data preparation for IT Audits: data extracts and computation, data gathering, data classification
  • Ensure audit deadlines and schedules are meet by Emerson internal teams
  • Plan and coordinate walkthroughs and review meetings between audit team and Emerson IT teams
  • Coordinate audit closing activities: draft DAT reviews, collaborate with IT teams to prepare and submit management response for listed deficiencies and process improvements
  • Ensure the corrective actions listed as Management Response are implemented correctly and timely to comply with the 90 days requirement

  • Work with Analytics Team to create Compliance Dashboards and proactive alerting
  • Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Navigation, User, Responsibilities is mandatory
  • VBA Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL a plus
  • Managing small projects

  • Ability to adapt and respond to multiple incoming requests and shifting priorities
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent IT or business experience of 6 - 8 years
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in compliance review & analysis regarding Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), and general IT-related enterprise-level regulations.
  • Demonstrated work with tools & processes used in monitoring a business control environment (self-assessment, self-testing, auditing of controls)
  • Demonstrated experience with regulatory and corporate policy requirements, preferably in large IT environments.
  • Strong background in documentation of processes and controls.
  • Experience with Oracle GRC (Governance, Risk and Controls) a plus
  • Basic knowledge related to system design, basic functionality and navigation of different popular ERP solutions (Oracle, SAP, JDE, etc.) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently while following overall management strategy
  • Ability to work in a large, global corporate structure
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of co-workers
  • Ability to adapt and respond to multiple incoming requests and shifting priorities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills. Must be highly effective at influencing people, facilitating rapid change in a consistent and structured manner
