Job Description

Analyst II (Test Lead)

Tetra Pak Global Information Management (Global IM) supports the Tetra Pak Group with all aspects of Information Management. We set the information management strategy and standards and work together with Tetra Pak s Global Process Owners to automate our business processes making sure we run projects services that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its customers. Mobile Apps is a Service Delivery Team which is focused on development of applications for mobile devices such as phones, tablets and HoloLenses. Mobile Apps is fully using agile methods and we are now looking for a Test lead / Tester to the team.

In this role you will be an Individual Contributor having opportunity to work with a product based organization which offers exposure to latest technologies. You will be based in Chakan, Pune

What You Will Do

As Test Lead, you will:

  • Work together with 5-9 people. We run 2-weeks sprints where the backlog is prioritized by Product Owners from the business teams. You must be interested in agile working methods and improving collaboration.
  • Drive testing within the scrum team where both manual testing and test automation are integral parts of each sprint to ensure release-quality after each sprint. You will be involved in all development phases from planning to final test. Mobile Apps is driving cross team activities between the different roles which will allow the specialists to collaborate with their colleagues in the other scrum teams, ensure standardized way of working and drive improvements.
  • Take on the role as an end user. This means that you drive question / highlight design decisions that will maximise the end user experience.
  • Play a major role when it comes to quality assurance. When working with scrum it is important to be able to work in a dynamic way and follow the flow without lowering the quality bar. You must feel comfortable with being a strong driver in the team as you must proactively be one step ahead of the developers to secure good quality in the coding by bringing right attitude and testing process. We therefore put some extra attention to capabilities as being spokesman for the team and department.
Who You Are

We believe you have have:

  • A Bachelors Degree with 5 or more years of experience in Mobile Apps Testing.
  • Deep knowledge in Exploratory testing/Contextual driven testing
  • Deep knowledge and hands on experiences from the different aspects of testing software
  • Experiences from testing native apps as well as web applications.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Generally strong, self-drive and enthusiastic about learning
  • Strong drive to secure quality in all aspects of development (quality over quantity)
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • General IT infrastructure knowledge
  • Mobile development knowledge
  • Generic DevOps knowledge (VSTS, AppCenter, InTune)
  • Skilled in unit-testing
  • Team player
  • Extensive experience from working in a scrum/agile environment
