The role holder will be a member of the India Offshore Technology Audit Team within Barclays Internal Audit (BIA). This team is responsible for providing audit coverage of technology related activities in India and supporting global BIA audits.The role holder will be reporting to the Audit Team Lead (VP), and will be responsible for audit walkthroughs and performing control tests assigned to them. He/she will also have the opportunity to participate and support the line manager in business monitoring, emerging risk identification and all aspects of audit delivery, including issue monitoring and validation.What will you be doing Support the GTIS Technology audit team by development and implementation of management information based on outputs from audit systems.Work with the GTIS Technology audit team to ensure key operational processes including audit planning, and audit universe data maintenance are delivered efficiently and effectively.Support the execution of audit work and at times execute audit work.Contribute to maintenance and risk assessment of the audit universe and audit coverage strategy.Support and at times perform continuous monitoring of relevant areas in technology.Support the follow-up and assessment of the resolution of audit issues.Contribute to evaluating the management control approach and control environment of relevant business areas.Monitor the status of audit issue remediation and independently validate the completeness of these remediation.Contribute to the maintenance of the audit universe and audit coverage strategy.What we re looking for:Good understanding of technology risks and controls, preferably gained from a financial institution.Hands-on experience in programming (e.g. Java, C++). Knowledge in SQL and Python preferred.Strong knowledge in software development technologies, tools (e.g. CICD Pipelines, Jenkins), methodologies and processes (e.g. Agile, Waterfall), preferably gained from a retail and wealth management business.Knowledge in robotic process automation technology and their applications (BluePrism) will be advantageous.Excellent communication skills, especially to a non-technical audience.Skills that will help you in the role:Familiar with at least one topic in data analytics, cyber security, business continuity and resiliency, outsourcing, cloud computing or infrastructure platforms.Proven ability to deliver timely, high quality analytical work in a relatively unsupervised environment.Display willingness to learn and share knowledge.Professional qualification relevant to technology and information risk management (e.g. CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP,
