Job Description

    • Drive continuous process improvements in Logistics transport planning &Execution
    • Initiate cost saving in Ocean, Air, Road and parcel.
    • Providing the cost saving analytics to reginal corporate team and business team.
    • Preparing cost saving detail proposals and getting the buy offs from stake holders in NAFTA region.
    • Connect with site & Corporate team and understand premium freight cost & reporting challenges and work together with them to improve premium freight compliance level.
    • Escalation management Report corporate team with analysis for PP Vs Spend VS forecast and Premium freight compliance level not met with target level.
    • Support global Logistics projects with detailed analysis and benchmarking inputs with other sites.
    • Ensure Project Timelines and milestone management for Logistics Projects.
    • Align with Global Logistics function and support standardization of processes and leveraging of spend.
    • Accountable and responsible for the timely, on budget delivery of projects managed
    • Guides team associated with the project, including goal setting and planning of performance / gate reviews.
    Reporting and review of new transitions and ongoing logistics activities with main stakeholders.Qualifications Qualification:
    • Bachelors with about 8 Yrs. exp.in Logistics domain, At least 4 years leading Logistics Projects in a service environment.
    Basic Knowledge (Foundation):
    • 8+ years of Industry experience managing complex logistics operations in India and/or overseas.
    • Good Collaborative style, managing various Global stakeholders at senior levels.
    • Good exposure in supplier management.
    • Exposure in global working, managing projects across continents.
    • Good understanding of logistics factors for different regions.
    • Good business acumen
    • Able to gather data from multiple systems and assimilate bigger data set
    • Understand linkages of data across different data set/reports
    • Break down of Data sets into meaningful interpretations
    • Able to anticipate logistics issues and proactively work for their resolution.
    • Have a good understanding of logistics cost factors and Global supplier base.
