• This exciting role is part of a our IT team in a large multi-national company. The role offers a broad variety of responsibilities including great learning opportunities.
• Brief primary function of your role:
• The Java Developer will develop, and support Eaton s ECommerce application and associated storefronts.
• The Java developer must understand functional requirements and participate in design, development and delivery of quality code at the component level.
• This role will administer/manage technical systems per prescribed procedures, perform technology specific development & testing using SDLC and execute ITSM processes(Change, Request, Incident, Problem management) on technical IT systems at the component level.

QualificationsRequirement
• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline such as: B.E / BTech / MCA / Equivalent or B.S. Comp Sci / Mathematics / Engineering / Equivalent
• 2 - 5 years of overall IT web technology experience
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and/or Material
• Experience with Oracle Commerce (or similar Java web platforms like Spring, Spring-Boot etc.)
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications
• Experience with Linux-based applications and web servers
• Experience successfully delivering on multiple aspects of technology projects
• Experience developing large web sites or applications
• Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar
• Experience in Requirement management tools like Atlassian Jira or similar tools
• Experience with Source code control systems like Bitbucket / GitHub or similar
• Preferred Skills
• REST API, API development, Microservices architecture etc.
• Angular, React or similar front end frameworks
• OpenShift Container Platform or similar
• Integration tools like SOA, APIGEE, SAP PI etc.
• ERPs like SAP, Oracle, MFG/Pro
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to present technical solutions and communicate with leadership and varied stakeholders.
• Problem solving - Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, look beyond the obvious and doesnt stop at the first answers
• Innovative mindset
• Should be able to work independently with tight deadlines
• Leadership skills for Individual contributors.
• Knowledge of all phases of SDLC
